Her writing is recognized internationally with more than 100 awards for excellence, including the advertising industry’s prestigious CLIO awards and a Silver Lion at Cannes. Before starting her firm, she was the first female Creative Director at national branding agency The Richards Group. Over her career, she has been named one of the “Ten Outstanding Young Working Women in America” by Glamour magazine and “One of the Five Women to Watch in the Southwest” by ADWEEK magazine.

Melinda is currently working one-on-one with former FBI Special Agent Joe Navarro in his Master Nonverbal Communications Program. Navarro developed this training program for the FBI, and is widely considered one of the top experts in the world.

In addition to specialized training, Melinda earned her B.A. with Honors in Psychology from Northwestern University and her Masters in Communications from SMU.
